Andressa Urach
When she was just 15, Andressa Urach began a romance and Tiago Costa. In three months they moved in with him. The couple was blessed with an unmarried child, Arthur Urach Costa born on May 19 2005 After divorce, the couple split in 2008 after 6 years of marriage. Andressa Urach then went to live with her son at her mother's home. After six months, Urach lost her employment and left her son in the custody of her father. Her main goal was to find a better life for her son within Sao Paulo. In her memoir Morri Para Viver Andressa Urach says she suffered sexual abuse throughout her childhood a victim of abuse by her foster grandfather that occurred from the age of 2 to 8. Andressa was able to conquer all issues because her foster grandmother was able to witness the abuse and returned her to live in her home. Her mother was not aware of her abuse until Andressa published her book. She claimed in interviews that she accomplished something that, to her, was unattainable prior to her spiritual transformation: forgiving her abusive partner. One of the most difficult decision I've made in my life was to contact the person who sexually assaulted me. This was no easy choice. I told him on the phone following a lot of praying and fasting, that I had forgiven him. Even though I'm in no way guilty, I pleaded with forgiveness. The request to forgive me was not a justification. Mariste Urach shares her reactions in a Globo interview. She describes her reaction when she heard about the harassment that had occurred towards her child. She traveled to the city where the pedophile lives within the inner reaches of Rio Grande do Sul willing to take on the pedophile.
